On the 2nd April 2002, our directors Declan Bradley and Dominic McMullan came together to form Acorn BMS. A quick look back to then shows how times have changed..
- Microsoft had just launched Windows XP
- Sage had just launched MMS Version 1 and Line 50 Version 11
- 45% of Businesses in the UK had no internet connection
- Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and Snapchat weren’t even invented
Today, Acorn BMS are now widely recognised as one of the leading fully accredited Sage Partners in Ireland. We have introduced Sage Software to over 350 companies across a host of different industries and employ a dedicated team of 13 people across Sage Support, Consultancy, Software Development, Sales and Marketing.
Our business highlights to date include winning the Sage Circle of Excellence Award on three occasions, winning the Sage Growth Partner of the Year for 2016 and being accredited with an All-Ireland Business All-Star in 2018.
Dominic McMullan commented on the anniversary:
