What’s New in Sage 50 Accounts v28.1?

Data Management – A new tool that analyses your data to keep it within the recommended data volumes. Manage your records and transaction to make your daily processing as efficient as possible.

Productivity and time improvements – Paste multiple address lines when creating and updating orders, and place purchase invoices on dispute at the point of entry.

User Improvements – Includes being able to open multiple companies simultaneously or remembering login details, plus option for a ‘Read Only’ user who can read data but can’t add, delete or change any data. Save time with the new ability to paste multi-line addresses into records.

Payments – Set payments due immediately where credit is not offered or after 30 days when contacts have Payment Due value of Zero. You can now generate e-payments from the batch supplier payments window in Sage 50 Accounts.

Import multi-line transactions – Import grouped transactions using a header transaction when transaction contain the same account reference, date and reference.

VAT Simplification – A new notification will appear if the VAT return dates do not match with HMRC, meaning you are less likely to submit returns in the wrong period, along with Net/Tax calculation on invoices.

Dashboard Enhancements – Choice to show net or gross values on Profit & Loss, Top Customer/Supplier reports and Invoice summary, along with other additional information.

Intrastat reporting – The intrastat return has been updated to include the Country of Origin and Partner VAT ID.

Other Enhancements – Includes an extra reference for Customer/Supplier payment and refunds. Quick search and filter in Quotations. And much more.
